    Description

Presented today is this fantastic Hopi Kachina doll, depicting the Corn Dancer Kachina. There is a myriad of Corn Dancers and Corn Boys, all a prayer for the Hopi's most important crop. This splendid Kachina doll, carved in a very effective and traditional style, is by the talented and respected Hopi Carver, Conrad Torivio. i have closely followed this very  traditional carver's career since the very beginning, and have the pleasure of owning the very first Kachina doll he carved, when he was only 8 years old. Conrad's work is always strong and clean, very well-made and very traditional. This Corn Dancer Kachina is an excellent example of his work, and stands 9 and a half inches tall, and is very well-proportioned and dignified. In my humble opinion, i believe that Conrad, and his brother Fermin, carve the nicest traditional Kachina dolls around. This one displays beautifully and would look great in any Kachina doll collection. Buy with confidence, for as you all know, if the buyer is unsatisfied for ANY reason, i will immediately return the full purchase price. This is a very handsome doll, and he would look great in any collection. Many Thanks for you kind consideration and as always,  Best Regards, Rich
