Bayonet style camera adapter to Telescope for Prime Focus and Projection Eyepiece Photography as shown in the pictures below.  This unit is  used on all:
Nikon 1  J1 and V1 Mirror-Less cameras ADAPTER to Telescope for Prime Focus or Eyepiece Projection Photography as shown in the first picture below.
This is a picture of the adapter you are buying.  It is between the camera an the telescope eyepiece holder; separate pictures shown below. The eyepiece holder is a standard 1.25" telescope eyepiece holder. Camera and telescope not included.
This is an exact picture of the adapter you are buying.  On the left is a Nikon 1 Bayonet to T2 mount which attaches to your camera an the piece to the right.  On the right is the adapter used for eyepiece projection photography.
Set up on your camera for Prime Focus.

This is a picture of a Nikon 1  J1 with the lens removed to show the 1 mount used on all Nikon  Mirror less Series cameras which is a three lug bayonet style  mount.
Attaches to a mirror-less camera via the Bayonet mount for use in PRIME FOCUS. Keep in mind that you are using the telescope to adjust focus
Set up on your  Nikon 1 camera for eyepiece  Projection Photography
Assembled for  eyepiece VARIABLE Projection photography use.
When used for eyepiece projection photography you place the actual  telescope eyepiece inside the adapter.  A thumb screw is provided  to stop the telescope eyepiece from moving around.  This piece shown actually has a different T2 on it for a different                camera.  This particular shot is of a Nikon F mount T2
